How DemoPerks collects, uses, stores, and protects information submitted through the site.

Information DemoPerks collects

DemoPerks may collect information you choose to provide through the Submit an Offer form, including company information, an offer URL, reward details, notes, and your email address. When you submit offer feedback, DemoPerks stores the selected feedback type and any details you provide.

The site creates a random visitor identifier in your browser's local storage so one browser can maintain one feedback response per offer. DemoPerks does not use that identifier to determine your real-world identity.

Technical information

Hosting and database providers may process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs, timestamps, and security events. The site currently uses Cloudflare for hosting, Supabase for database services, and Google Fonts for web typography.

How information is used

  1. Review and verify submitted offers.
  2. Contact a submitter when clarification is needed.
  3. Record confirmations and issue reports.
  4. Protect the site from abuse, fraud, and technical problems.
  5. Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the directory.

Sharing

DemoPerks does not sell personal information to advertisers. Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, databases, security, and site delivery. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, investigate abuse, or respond to a valid legal request.

Retention

Submission and feedback records may be retained while they are useful for verification, moderation, security, and recordkeeping. Records may be deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably needed.

Your choices

You can clear the DemoPerks visitor identifier through your browser's site-data or local-storage controls. You may request correction or deletion through the applicable offer-reporting tools available on the site. Some records may be retained when reasonably required for security, legal compliance, or fraud prevention.

Children

DemoPerks is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the site, providers, and data practices change. The effective date will be updated when material revisions are made.
